La SWFA (Asociación americana de escritores de ciencia ficción) acaba de dar a conocer la lista de candidatos que optan este año a los prestigiosos Premios Nebula. También se han anunciado los candidatos al Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation y al Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy Book.

Los ganadores se anunciaran durante el transcurso del tradicional Banquete de los Premios Nébula que se celebra durante el fin de semana de los Nebula (SFWA’s 47^th Annual Nebula Awards Weekend), desde el jueves 17 hasta el domingo 21 de mayo de 2012 en el Hyatt Regency Crystal City en Arlington, Virginia, cerca del Reagan National Airport (EE.UU).  Walter Jon Williams será el Maestro de Ceremonias, Connie Willis recibirá el 2011 Damon Knight Grand Master Award por sus aportaciones en el campo de la ciencia ficción y el astronauta Michael Fincke dará la conferencia de apertura.
